Bear and Cougar hunting has recently been outlawed in California.  Since hunting has always kept an equal balance between predators and prey, there is an imbalance of too many predators(bear and cougar). An imbalance of too many predators has a huge affect of the rest of the ecosystem. this includes, not enough prey to go around for the predators, over growing of the preys food since there isn't enough prey to eat it and lastly, we will soon see more and more bears coming into our towns since there is so many of them. the average bears and cougars territory is about 100 miles. with too many cougars around, there isn't enough space to go around,  resulting in them coming into our towns.
